Safety & Trust

The Gyigye Code

Meeting someone new should feel exciting, not worrying. The Gyigye Code is the promise behind every profile, and a few simple habits go a long way: keep your first chats on Gyigye, meet in a public place, tell a friend where you are going, and never send money to someone you have not met.

Never send Mobile Money or cash to someone you have not met.

Nobody you meet here should ask you to. If they do, report them. Any profile can be reported from the profile or chat screen.

Respect and consent come first.

Always treat others with dignity. Unsolicited explicit content, harassment, or pressure are zero tolerance.

Every photo is reviewed

Photos start as pending and are reviewed by human moderators before other members see them.
